I am very much not oblivious to the fact that this is implying that the Dark El took control of her and likely killed everything, including her own allies.
long story short, Elesis passes out partway through the process and woke up with a) everyone around her dead and b) holding the Dark El shard. In a nutshell, she lead a group of Feita soldiers to retrieve a Dark El shard, presumably not knowing what it is but knowing the demons wanted it, and it went south badly. turns out, this is a 'lost in translation' situation, and the original english translation completely misrepresents what happened. So Crimson Avenger is kind of a weird situation, because prior to writing this paragraph I had a very different impression of how she came about compared to what the actual reality is. With that in mind, let's talk about Bloody Queen! and what better place to start than with Crimson Avenger, which is actually where the problems start Dark Knight, broadly, is actually completely fine, and if KOG had opted to just double down on what that class already does, we wouldn't be having this conversation, most likely. there are certainly classes in the mix that I think could happen but wouldn't in most circumstances- Genesis is chief among them, as while I absolutely believe Elsword could go down that path, I don't think the rest of the party would let him. and to clarify here, there's a big difference between 'could it happen' and 'would it happen'. The issue can best be summed up as the question being 'could it actually happen' and the answer being 'almost certainly not', usually because of some fundamental flaw in how it's written. This is by far the most prominent with Bloody Queen, and thus she's the one I'll mainly be talking about here, but this particular issue absolutely is not exclusive to her Specifically with regards to why I don't think certain edgy classes in Elsword actually work within the context of the story Okay so I decided I'm going to ramble about what I alluded to earlier anyway
